ETDC GuwahatiElectronics Test & Development Centre, Guwahati was established in 1988 under the Standardisation Testing & Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate of Department of Electronics and  Information Technology(DeitY), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. The centre has come up under STQC program of then Department of Electronics for providing STQC charter of services like: Testing, Calibration, Training & IT services to support the Indian Electronics, IT & other small, medium and large scale industries at national level by helping, improve the quality of their products and services. This centre is professionally managed by qualified scientists & test Engineers supported by state-of-the-art sophisticated equipment & machineries. This has enabled small, medium, large scale industries & professional bodies of north-eastern region of India to avail STQC services towards improving quality of their products and services.
