CETE, Kolkata was set up in 1994 under an Indo-German Technical Collaboration by STQC Directorate, Dept. of IT, Govt. of India to bridge the gap between industry & academics through knowledge based skill oriented training programs. CETE,

This centre provides support towards sophisticated electronic equipment repair and developmental activities. This centre has created a brand image with its excellent  curriculum design, state-of-the-art facilities, facilitated class rooms, enriched technical information centre, hands on training, appropriate training aids.  It has a very strong and experienced faculty.

Recognitions / Accreditations

The centre is an active member of various Technical Training & Educational Subcommittees of CII, ELMA (Electronics & Accessories Manufacturers Association), etc. Moreover it has a very strong relation with Calcutta University & The George Telegraph Training Institute.
