CETEs

With the strong support of the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) five training Centers for Electronics Test Engineering (CETE) have been established in Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Noida under Standardization Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India.

The objective of the CETEs is to enhance the skill of technological manpower in the Electronics and Information Technology Sector in India. Training courses conducted by CETEs are demand driven and highly practice oriented. CETE endeavors to supplement the Indian industries and institutions with knowledge based skill to make them globally competitive through hands on training using state-of-the-art equipment. Providing consultancy and guidance on process improvements on popular ISO standards are also important part of CETE's services.

CETEs are dedicated to provide practice oriented skill based training and other services according to the requirements of Electronics & IT industry, users of Electronics and professional organizations. The main focus areas of training are ;

Infrastructure at CETE : Training programs at CETEs are conducted in facilitated classrooms with latest Teaching Aids and CBTs in a modern teaching and learning environment. Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. In relevant areas, guest faculties from industries are also involved to enrich the courses.

Industry Interaction : In order to provide training programs and services according to market requirements in the fast developing Electronics & IT sector, CETE has established institutional links with major industries, professional bodies and training providers.
